video classes

If you can’t make it to my in-person workshops, I also offer step-by-step video classes through Creativebug — an online subscription site. They have hundreds of classes in their library which means that along with my jewelry classes, you can keep your creative juices flowing with workshops on sewing, mixed media, drawing, and more.

Scheherazade NecklaceThis beaded “ribbon” necklace builds on basic bead-weaving skills. You’ll learn an even count peyote stitch and several embellishment designs that you can use to create this necklace or apply to other beading projects. You’ll learn all of these techniques, plus how to make a bead “soup” and anchor your threads so all your precious work stays secure.

bead-weaving roundabout necklace (AKA randi's rope)

Bead-Weaving Roundabout Necklace AKA Randi's RopeIn this class, beading expert Liz will show you how to make a chic, versatile necklace that can be worn in any direction. The necklace begins with a beautiful bead-weaving section, comprised of both twisted spiral stitch and herringbone stitch with silver and gold beads. After the bead-weaving is complete, gold and silver chains are attached, and the necklace is finished with decorative clasps. You can make the necklace short or long, in vibrant colors or metallic hues—the choice is up to you. It's easy to customize, fun to make, and even more fun to wear.
